My Services

You focus on the science. I’ll handle the language.

I help researchers, healthcare professionals, and life sciences organizations present their work in a way that’s clean, professional, and easy to understand—whether it’s for peer-reviewed journals, stakeholder reports, or general audiences.

I combine editorial precision with subject matter fluency, bridging the gap between technical content and effective communication. Whether English is your first or fifth language, I provide a supportive, detail-focused editing process tailored to your needs.

Proofreading

Regular: US$10 per page (2–5 business days)

Next day: US$15 per page (limit: 6,000 words)

Proofreading involves reviewing material in its final layout or format to identify and correct errors in text and visuals. This process may include comparing the current version against an earlier one and checking for:

  • Design compliance, ensuring alignment with layout guidelines

  • Mechanical accuracy, including correcting spelling, grammar, and style inconsistencies

  • Element consistency, including verifying cross-references, headings, captions, hyperlinks, metadata, and other functional components

Additional tasks may include:

  • Differentiating between production errors (e.g., printer, designer, or programmer mistakes) and editorial changes

  • Adjusting text length

  • Confirming proper placement of artwork

  • Validating page numbers and references

Note: Proofreading occurs after copyediting; it does not replace substantive or stylistic revisions.
